our vision
AMM Manufacturings passion for safety, and knowledge for mining, all started at the Britannia Mines just 55km from North Vancouver, Canada. The testing of AMM’s products during this time offered valuable insight, and a strong starting point into understanding the importance of safety in the mining, drilling, and blasting sectors.
From conception to development, AMM Manufacturings products helped shaped this industry, and their early positioning proved that safety is instrumental in the field. This shift, and understanding, has made AMM Manufacturing an invaluable producer of mining, drilling, and blasting products to this day.
OUR GROWTH
The company’s growth is a direct result of a philosophy to exceed customer expectations. This is most apparent in the swell of AMM’s product innovations, and new designs, that have their beginnings in customer challenges.
Environmentally friendly products, drill hole plugs for extreme conditions, cutting-edge technology, and mining solutions are only some examples of AMM’s response to customer concerns during the last decade. Columbia Plastics Ltd. has been our sole manufacturer, and partner, since the very start. They have been building a reputation since 1945 as one of North America’s most innovative, and reliable, custom injection molding companies.
They still run AMMs prototype mining molds that were built in the 1960’s. This long partnership has allowed them to routinely craft mining products such as the drill hole plug. More recent product developments have included high-visibility drill hole plug lids. These lids are intended to keep workers safe when navigating dangerous mine sites.
